Start With What Is Yours
Begin with safety, understand what belongs to you, and choose one response to practice.
FRM · Resources for Women
Understand the pattern you inherited. Choose what continues.
It only takes one person to change the pattern. It does not take one person to carry it.
Practical video and written lessons for the hard moment, the hard conversation and the return after a mistake.

You hear your mother’s words come out of your mouth. You keep asking for the conversation he keeps putting off. You get the children through the day, then lie awake thinking about the moment you wish you could take back.
You can care about your family and still be tired of holding so much of it together.
The Steady One gives you a way to look at your own patterns and practice a different next move: before the next sentence, in a hard conversation, and after you get it wrong.
The title is not a job description.
You will not be asked to regulate your husband, track his progress, soften every difficult moment or make your children responsible for proving that you have changed.
You will practice noticing what happens in you, speaking about what is yours, making responsibility visible, and returning after a mistake. Another adult’s choices stay theirs.
You can begin without everyone beginning with you. That does not mean you can change the whole relationship on your own.
I’m Rob Thomas. I’ve been a life and career coach for more than six years, working with both men and women. Coaching and developing teams has been part of most of my professional career.
Across my executive coaching practice and my work with life coaching clients, I began to see the same patterns repeat: the ways people respond under pressure, avoid hard conversations, and carry habits they have never stopped to question.
I created the Present Leader Series to meet a growing need in leadership development. As that work developed, I saw similar patterns showing up at home—in the way we listen, react, take responsibility, and repair.
Then came my divorce. I had to take an honest look at myself and at things I had spent much of my life avoiding. That reckoning brought FRM together. The work became personal: I had to practice the responsibility I was teaching.
My resources for women grow from that work and from my experience coaching women through painful, unresolved places in their relationships. I’ve listened to women trying to find their voice, hold a boundary, and decide what belongs to them. Their experiences have helped shape the practical questions and tools in this course.
I also know that sometimes we men need a powerful nudge—a clear conversation, an honest boundary, or someone willing to stop joining an old pattern. Where it is safe to do so, one person can begin responding differently. Each adult still has to choose their own work.
It only takes one person to change the pattern. It does not take one person to carry it. To me, being the steady one means finding your footing, speaking clearly, and following through on what is yours. That is what I want these resources to help you practice.
Your practice counts through your conduct. It does not depend on a partner joining in, a child forgiving you or someone praising your effort.
Eight modules · 25 written lessons · 24 core videos

The printable workbook includes your Pattern Map, an Inherited OS Audit, Impulse Map, Mine / Not Mine sheet, conversation planners, age-gated repair log, Daily 3 tracker, Her Code builder, 30-day tracker and a one-page reference.
You also receive the Steady Home Bundle, including the Mom Reset Kit, household tools and conversation cards, plus the included FRM Partner Guide with the shared repair update. You do not need to buy the smaller products first.
Also included: a one-page Right Now Guide and Your Part Matters, an optional six-page men’s work-along. A willing adult partner can use that PDF independently. You do not need him to participate, teach him the material or track his practice.
Already own the Kit or Bundle? You can keep using those tools. The course adds guided teaching, worked examples and practice across inherited patterns, relationships and parenting.
You want practical tools for your own response and are willing to practice them in ordinary moments. You may be married, single, separated, divorced, co-parenting, a stepmother or part of a blended family. Your children may be young, teenagers or adults. You may be looking back at your own parents as much as looking at your home today.
You can use a private rehearsal when a conversation is unavailable or inappropriate. Faith is welcome and never required.
This course is not an answer to fear, intimidation, violence, abuse or coercive control. If you or a child are unsafe, start with appropriate support. Do not test a communication tool to see whether someone becomes safer.
It does not provide therapy, medical care, crisis response, legal advice, custody guidance, co-parenting mediation or couples counseling. It does not prepare you to handle an active custody or parental-alienation dispute or override contact restrictions.
It is not a way to get a man to enroll in a program, prove that you are right or make a child disclose, forgive or reconnect. It cannot promise that a relationship will continue or that another person will change.
If you want live coaching, a group or personal feedback, this self-study product will not provide that.
How long can I access the course?
Your purchase includes lifetime access to The Steady One. Return to the lessons and included resources at your own pace.
Does my partner need to take part?
No. You practice your own conduct. Any shared exercise needs consent. A private rehearsal counts.
Will I need to contact my parents?
No. Reflection does not require confrontation, reconciliation or contact. You may use an ordinary composite example instead of personal history.
What if my child does not want to talk?
You respect that. A child does not owe you reassurance or forgiveness. Repair and conversation practices include age limits and alternatives.
Is there a community or live support?
No. This is self-study. There are no calls, coaching or community access included. For login, video or download help, use the ReclaimYou contact form and select “Technical support.” Most messages receive a personal reply within two business days.
Will I be assessed?
You can use private reflection ratings to notice your own practice. They are not a diagnosis or a measure of anyone else’s progress. Completion is about observable choices you practice, rather than a score or another person’s reaction.
What do I need?
An internet connection to access the Kajabi lessons, and a place to make private notes if you choose. You can print the workbook. Use the course only where access and practice fit your safety and circumstances.
You do not need to promise a different household. Start with a next move that belongs to you.

No lesson guarantees another person’s safety, participation, change, forgiveness, trust or reconciliation.
