It's on its way.

Check your inbox. Stay Close Without Taking Over should arrive within a few minutes. If you don't see it, check your spam or promotions folder and move it to your primary inbox so the rest can find you.

Over the next seven mornings, you'll receive one short email from me. One idea at a time, followed by one small practice. Nothing long.

Now the part that's yours to do.

Below is a message you can send her with her private link to the quiz.

The quiz takes about three minutes. Her answers and result are not collected, and you will not see them.

Although she is given a suggestion to communicate and share if she would like, you won't be notified whether she took it. That's deliberate, and it's the first practice. More on that in a few days.

You may change the message below. If you change anything, keep the parts explaining that you will not see her answers or result and that you will be notified only when she finishes. Clear expectations make it easier for her to answer honestly rather than carefully.

A suggested note to her

I saw this and thought you might find it interesting. It's a short, ten-question quiz about what happens to your voice when other people's opinions and expectations are a lot.

Your answers and result are completely yours. I won't see them, and you don't have to share them with me or anyone else unless you want to.

No pressure. It's simply something you can explore for yourself if you want to.

Then leave it alone.

She might take it today. She might take it in three weeks, at eleven at night, without mentioning it.

Once you send the invitation, let her decide what to do with it. Not following up is the first practice, and it's a real one.

You'll receive the completion notification if she chooses to take it. Her answers, result, and anything she decides to do with that result remain hers.

More on that in a few days.
